This is an annual Community event on Fryer Field and was established in 2017, designed to simply bring everyone together.

Entry is always free, and stalls are always welcome.

Since then the Town Council has endeavoured to improve the event’s success each year. The mini festival in West Moors proved to be not so mini this year, with over 3000 people in attendance. There will always be an array of activities and entertainment, live music, Wheel Display, refreshments and more on offer. The date will always be the second Saturday of July.

What's on

There was a duo called Sparky & Sprite this year, and either side of them were 'Audio All Stars'.
People seemed to love this live band, so they have been booked in for 2024!

Also, performing his Children's show and circus workshop skills again, will be KRAZY KEV.
The famous climbing wall, water rollers, and ferret racing will be back. We hope to have another set of rollers to keep that queue to a minimum!

Of course there will be inflatables, fairground rides, inflatable games, URBAN DISPLAY (Bike stunts) and individual tombola stalls run by the stall holders.

With a variety of over 60 stalls, and a cracking wheel display there is bound to be something for everyone.

Bring a picnic or enjoy the various culinary delights on offer including;
A choice of food will be on offer; Pizza, Burgers, Sausages, Hog Roast, Crepes, Doughnuts, Coffee, Ice cream, sausage rolls, cheese and bacon puffs, Cookies and carrot cakes, fish & chips, Tea & Coffee, Vegan sweets, popcorn , candyfloss, home-made cakes, Pastries, PROSECCO, LAGER, CIDER.
Tipsy Tow Bar will be our mobile bar next year.

On Saturday 8th July this year, we all had a great time at Fryer Field, during the 3rd WESTIVAL.

The purpose of the day was not to make money, but lots of memories. Entry and some activities were free, others very reasonably priced.

WMTC wanted to show its residents that they are here for them and believe that at least once a year, everyone should get together and share stories, have fun and show how strong West Moors Community is.

The following comments were spoken by many of those that attended as well as took part:
"Great day out that didn't cost a fortune", "Fantastic atmosphere", "really good for the community", "so well organised", "We will definitely come again next year", "Feel good summer event, brilliant day, and I won a bag full of prizes thanks to various stall tombola's and the main event raffle".

 There were so many people that made the event happen and they deserve a huge thank you. Volunteers, Sponsorship and the Council themselves.
